Whether you want to live by the water, in the mountains, near the city, or in a quiet residential community, I'll help you explore available options.

How It Works

1. Tell me what you're looking for.
Your budget, location, number of bedrooms, furnished or unfurnished, and any special requirements.

2. I send you available options.
I'll help you identify properties that match what you're looking for.

3. Choose your home.
Once you've found the right property, I'll help coordinate with the landlord and guide you through the process of securing it.

4. Secure your rental.
Long-term rentals generally begin at three months and can extend to a year or longer, depending on the property and landlord.

Frequently Asked Rental Questions

Can I rent an apartment before I arrive in the Dominican Republic?

Yes. You can begin the process from outside the country. I can send you available rental options based on your budget and preferences and help coordinate with the landlord.

How do I secure the apartment if I'm not here?

Once you've selected a property and are ready to secure it, the deposit can be sent to me through Western Union in my name, Cerise Fairfax. I take the deposit directly to the landlord to secure the apartment.

How much is your rental finder’s fee?

My finder’s fee is $75 when I successfully help you secure a rental.

How long will the landlord hold the apartment?

Generally, the apartment may be held for two to three weeks, and sometimes up to a month. The exact holding period depends on the individual landlord.

What is considered a long-term rental?

Long-term generally means three months to one year or longer.

Do you have furnished and unfurnished apartments?

Yes. I help clients find both furnished and unfurnished properties, depending on availability and budget.

What does a furnished apartment usually include?

A furnished apartment generally includes furniture, kitchen essentials such as utensils, dishes, pots and pans, beds, sheets, pillows, and basic household necessities. Many furnished rentals also include a television, and some include basic Wi-Fi and cable.

The exact furnishings and included services vary by property, so they should always be confirmed before renting.

Do I have to pay for electricity?

Electricity is generally paid separately from the rent. Depending on the landlord's arrangement, you may pay the landlord directly or be instructed to pay the electricity provider.

What if I think my electricity bill is too high?

You can ask to review the electricity consumption from the previous month and compare it with your consumption during your stay. This can help you understand whether your usage has increased.

Can you arrange transportation from the airport?

Yes. I can arrange for a trusted driver to pick you up at the airport and take you directly to your apartment.

Can you guarantee that a particular apartment will be available?

No. Rental availability changes, and properties are controlled by individual landlords. I can help you find available options and communicate with the landlord, but the final rental agreement and availability are determined by the landlord.
