WORK SMART, THINK HARD, BUT MAKE TIME FOR FUN

The other day a friend said "Cerise, I am seeking success. I am doing this by keeping myself busy focusing on my work only."
I agreed that focus is important, however, I also feel that relaxation is also a very important part of success. For example, when a great soccer player gets a goal, or a fantastic football player gets a touchdown it is usually when they are in the zone of timing, rhythm and relaxation. If they are tense and worried about getting that goal or touchdown, then chances are they will falter and not succeed on their desire.
I believe the same thing applies in life. Yes we need focus, but we also need to relax and do things in timing and with the rhythm of the moment. Remember that fun and activities creates successful opportunities and we should engage in extra curricular activities when at all possible.
I have a friend who is a lawyer, and she attends fashion shows as her past time. When she is at a show she enjoys herself,  but she also hands out a few business cards because you never know who may need a good lawyer in the fashion industry. Somebody could be suing or getting sued. Perhaps a designer, model or even the event venue, either way she is mixing business with pleasure while she is focusing on fun and work.
So remember, although it is important to focus on stability and security, it is just as important to have fun and enjoy life a little. As a matter of fact, most of my ideas come to me when I am not focused on a project but when I am meditating, washing the dishes, in the shower, or just walking my doggie Magic.

DON'T CHASE SUCCESS, BE IN THE ZONE OF IT... WITH WORK, REST AND PLAY.
